About the Company

Client is a European listed group and a leader in industrial flow control products. They are experiencing high growth in Asia Pacific and currently seeking a senior business leader with strong track record in Industrial markets to head up the Industrial Automation BU in Asia Pacific.

Position Summary

To manage the Industrial Automation (IA) Business Unit in APAC, interfacing with respective APAC Country MDs and Global Business Unit to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Work with Country MDs to set and deliver sales and margin targets on budget, making sure business objectives to be achieved in APAC are in line with Global IA strategies.

• Develop APAC IA growth plan and lead implementation to achieve plan on budget and on time.

• Grow IA sales capability in APAC through in-country Key Account Managers (KAMs). Support sub-region in growing IA sales through business development and technical expertise. Develop strong relationships with existing customers

• Identify, qualify and drive new product pipelines, accelerate New Product Development (NPD) & New Product Introduction (NPI) with focus on growth hub projects and incremental new product sales contribution to profitable growth.

• Active collaboration with Global IA team to ensure alignment with global strategy, and leverage global resource to support regional growth initiatives. Support development of the segment specific strategy in APAC.

• Part of the leadership team of the Global IA organization with dotted line reporting to the Global IA MD. Act as a representative of APAC on the Global IA leadership team.

• Part of the leadership team in APAC reporting directly to the APAC President. Act as a representative of the Global IA team on the APAC leadership team.
